LG have won 15 awards in the 2014 CES Innovations Awards by CEA.
Every year, a couple of months before CES the CEA reveal their awards for a number of products that exhibitors will be showing off at the upcoming CES. If we’re lucky, sometimes these awards reveal a product that has yet to be announced.
This year looking at LG, they have won the “Best of Innovations” in the video display category for their 77-inch 4K curved OLED TV. This TV was of course revealed back in September at IFA in Berlin, Germany, but has yet to be on display in the U.S.
The LG 77-Inch Curved 4K OLED TV will no doubt be on center stage at CES 2014 and we can see why it won this award. Last year we were impressed with their 55-inch curved OLED TV, and equally impressed by Sony’s prototype 4K OLED TV. This new 77-inch TV adds 4K resolution to the equation, at a larger size of course.
LG won 15 awards in total, including awards for their Ultra HD TVs, Smart TVs, sound system, and blu-ray players, but these have yet to be revealed, as they’re no doubt products which have yet to be released. These will be revealed on January 6th 2014 at CES 2014.
