Denon AVR-X4000, X3000, X2000 4K Receivers

Denon have just announced and released their latest lineup of IN-Command 7.2 Network Home Theater Receivers. There are four new models in the Denon AVR-X1000 to AVR-X4000 range, but we are particularly interested in the Denon AVR-X4000 receiver which supports 4K video pass through, and upscaling.

With new more affordable 4K / Ultra HD TVs coming our way, such as the 55-inch, and 65-inch Sony X900A series which starts at just $4,999 now available, and other cheaper options coming our way very soon, people are going to want to upgrade their equipment to 4K supporting.

The new flagship Denon AVR-X4000 features 7 HDMI inputs (including one at the front) and 3 HDMI outputs, and no not only pass through 4K content, it can also upscale non 4K content upto 4K.

Along with touting 4K support, the Denon AVR-X4000 receiver also supporting Spotify, AirPlay and DLNA 1.5. Featuring 7.2 surround sound output with Audyssey DSX, Dolby Pro Logic IIz or DTS Neo:X encoding, and powerful 125 watts per channel. There are also two subwoofer outputs.

A remote control app is available for both Android and iOS, or via web browsers. Home automation, and multi-room control are also available. Other features include Demon’s compressed audio restorer, which should breath new life into compressed audio files, restoring music detail for a higher fidelity listening, and Denon Link HD.

The Denon AVR-X3000, and AVR-X2000 also support the 4K features, but have slightly less power and loose some of the decoding capabilities. The X2000 starts at just $649.00, while the flagship Denon X4000 will cost you $1,299.00.
