Sky NOW TV Box Launched For £10

BSkyB, the owners of Sky TV have just launched the NOW TV Box for just £9.99 including postage and packing. So cheap, they’re almost giving it away!

This box is clearly designed to work with the NOW TV Internet streaming service, and simply connects to your HDTV, and to the Internet via built in WiFi.

This device comes of no surprise to us, especially when you know that BSkyB recently invested $60 Million in Roku, the makes of the popular Roku Streaming Player Box. In fact the Sky NOW TV Box looks almost identical to a Roku box, just with a different paint job. It measures just 84 x 84 x 24 mm in size.

The now TV box gives you access to BBC iPlayer, Demand 5, BBC News, Sky News, and the Now TV subscription service from Skys Now TV. This can give you access to Sky’s services and their movies. Now TV says that they get the movies months before other services such a Netflix.

You will soon be able to access other services / apps from the Now TV Box very soon. These include Spotify, Facebook, Flickr and more.

You can also try Now TV’s subscription service free for 30 days. You can also access Now TV from other devices such as your PC, tablet, or Smart Phone.

We’re glad to see Now TV offering a box so cheap, it’s a great way to get HD TV onto a TV which might be limited due to location or living in an area where you can’t get Sky TV. The price is also great, clearly they’re aiming to get the money back from the subscriptions.

You can order the NOW TV Box from for just £10, including shipping.
