Samsung S9 85-inch Hands On

Samsung S9 85-Inch 4K Hands On At Selfridges Video

We’re pleased to bring you an exclusive hands on demonstration of the beautiful and unique Samsung S9 85-Inch Ultra HD TV.

We first got an eyes on look at the very impressive Samsung S9 series at CES 2013 when it was unveiled and proudly shown off. Now a few months later the huge 85-inch 4K beauty is now available to purchase and is on display at a very few select location around the world.

One such location is the prestigious Selfridges store in London where they’re displaying and selling the stunning S9 for an eye watering £35,000.

Selfridges and Samsung were kind enough to give us a full hands on demonstration of the Samsung UN85S9AF / UN85S9000 where we get a real hands on experience which we’re proud we can share with you. We even dig through the settings and options of the Samsung S9 and reveal previously unknown features such as the One connect connection hub / box, pop out camera, height adjustment feature and much more.

Samsung ES8000

Samsung 55ES8000 Review

Announced earlier in the year at CES 2012, the Samsung ES8000 is Samsung’s latest and greatest flagship LED LCD Smart TV.

As soon as you hear flagship, you know it is going to be packed full of features, have amazing specifications and finished with a beautifully slim design, and from first looks, it certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Building on the success of last years D8000 series, the new ES8000 should have everything and more than you could have ever asked for from a Smart TV. I feel that Samsung has pushed the whole “Smart TV” area the furthest, and just like the ES7000 series which we reviewed earlier, of course features Samsung Smart Interaction, enabling both gesture and voice control.

I will be reviewing the 55-Inch UE55ES8000 model, as it’s known in the UK, also know as the Samsung UN55ES8000 in the U.S. In the UK it is available in 40, 46, and 55-Inch sizes. While in the U.S it is available in 46, 55, 60, and 65-Inch sizes. This review will apply to all the models.

Here at HDTV News we’re very proud to bring you our hands on of the very impressive and cutting edge Sony XBR-84X900 84-Inch 4K TV!

The Sony 84X900 is much more than simply a huge HDTV at 84-Inches, in fact it’s not even a HDTV, it’s a 4K TV or also know as an Ultra HD TV. This really is what makes the XBR-84X900 stand out from the other huge TVs out there. It has a resolution of 4x that of standard Full HDTVs, with 8 million pixels, 3,840 x 2,160.

The hands on video we have here is introduced by our beautiful Stacey and demonstrated by store manager Keith, from the Fashion Valley Stony store located in San Diego, California.

Samsung 46ES7000

Samsung 46ES7000 Review

Here we have the very impressive looking 46-Inch Samsung 46ES7000 Smart 3D HDTV from Samsung’s 2012 ES7000 series.

This latest series 7 model sits very high up in the 2012 roster, and comes in just one notch below the flagship ES8000 series.

While the Samsung ES7000 series might not be #1, looking through the specifications and features of both, they appear to only differ slightly by their design, and one feature. The ES7000 reviewed here features “Micro Dimming Pro” rather than “Micro Dimming Ultimate” as featured in the ES8000.

Please note, we have reviewed the UK model here, in the U.S it is known as the Samsung UN46ES7500 from the Samsung ES7500 series, so feel free to associate this review with the UN46ES7500 also.

Panasonic TC-P65VT50

Panasonic TC-P65VT50 Review

The Panasonic TC-P65VT50 is the largest 65-Inch model from Panasonic’s new top of the line, flagship VT50 plasma series.

After gaining a huge amount of attention at its launch, the VT50 is finally available. We’re proud to be able to provide you with an excellent user review written exclusively for HDTV-News.Com by Brandon Kalaskie. If you’re interested in providing a user review, please contact us.

One of the difficulties in becoming an early adopter of a new TV is deciding how confident you should be before making the big purchase, especially without the benefit of a peer review. Allow me to alleviate this fear concerning the Panasonic VIERA TC-P65VT50 plasma television. Believe the hype. Truth in advertising may have fallen by the way side in recent years, but Panasonic went against the mold in publicizing its VT50 series. You may treat every press release about this TV as gospel. The VT50 quite handily set the high mark for this year’s crop of televisions.

I’ll try to keep this review confined to the more underwhelming or confusing aspects surrounding the VT50 plasma, as listing its many praises would just become tedious. This plasma set really is that good.

B&O BeoPlay V1

B&O BeoPlay V1 Review

If you lined up all of todays latest HDTVs, and included the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay V1 in the lineup, I would bet good money that the V1 would be the TV which standouts to everyone.

Every year, HDTV design seems to evolve in similar ways for every major HDTV manufacturer. We’re so used to seeing generic TVs which are constantly getting slimmer with skinny bezels and plastic bodies all looking the same. So when we first clapped eyes on the very individual and beautiful BeoPlay V1 we were very captivated.

If you think the V1 looks good in the photos, just wait till you see it in person, it really is that impressive. In the world of flyweight TVs where TVs are generally getting slimmer and lighter, the V1 is more of a heavyweight at a hefty 57.3 lbs / 26kg of solid steel.
