Samsung HomeSync Media Hub Announced

At MWC 2013 in Barcelona, Samsung have just taken the wraps off of their latest media product, the HomeSync.

The Samsung HomeSync home hub connects to your TV / Smart TV and has a “personal cloud” storage of 1TB. The HomeSync acts as both an Android powered media hub / storage unit for your whole family, and as a device for “Mirroring” your Samsung Galaxy Smart phone’s display wirelessly onto the TV.

Samsung’s very popular Galaxy S phone range can connect with the HomeSync and act in a similar way to how users have been able to “Mirror” their iPhones with their Apple TV.

Users can do more than just mirror their devices, with the 1TB of storage space the HomeSync acts as a storage hub for the whole family. It can sync to multiple devices, with up to eight individual user accounts, with private or public storage space. The private storage areas are protected by user ID and password with encryption.
