Way back at the start of the year, Vizio announced a whole bunch of new HDTVs at CES 2011. Now finally 11 months later Vizio has announced that their Vizio M-Series of 3D HDTVs are now available and shipping out to excited customers.
The Vizio M-Series’ release has been announced just one day after the series won the “2011 Best of What’s New Award” for Theater 3D Technology in the December 2011 issue of Popular Science magazine.
The Vizio M Series 3D Edge Lit Razor LED LCD HDTV is a very sleek stylish 3D TV which delivers immersive cinema style 3D. Unlike some other 3DTVs where you have to spend a fortune on 3D glasses the Vizio M series comes complete with four pairs of 3D glasses for all the family.
This latest Vizio range is packed with great features you would expect to find on highend flagship models, such as Razor LED backlighting, 24Hz SPS refresh for keeping the images super sharp and motion blur free, and 1080p Full HD resolution, but all at a great price.
The M Series is available in four sizes, as the 42-inch Vizio M3D420SR, 46-inch Vizio M3D460SR, 55-inch Vizio M3D550SR, and as the huge 65-inch Vizio M3D650SV. All sizes apart from the 65-inch are currently shipping out, the 65-inch M3D650SV will be available in January 2012.
Vizio has also included built in 802.11n WiFi which allows the HDTV to connect to your network wirelessly delivering on-demon movies, TV shows, music, social networking and more from the Vizio Internet Apps. Finally Vizio didn’t scrimp on the sound, and have included SRS SudioSound HD for high quality audio.
For those of you interested in the technical specifications. The 3D TVs has a 1080p LCD panel, with a fast 5ms response time, and 240Hz SPS refresh rate keeping the images clean and sharp, and have a high 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for vivid colors and deep blacks. There are 4 HDMI inputs, and component, 2X USB 2.0 and optical SPDIF audio output.
